Occupational and Environmental Health Clinical Nurse Specialists play a variety of roles, that might include all or some of the following: working in a clinical practice, creating and managing worker or community health and safety programs, providing worker training and education, identifying effective case management strategies to help workers return to work safely after an injury or illness, and consulting to health care organizations, government, and businesses.
